Tiny painted details provide a lovely flash of colour, including the cat's green eyes, brilliant orange wool and charming red ribbon.\n\nThe Vienna Bronze design was inspired by the tradition of charming miniature bronze animal figures associated with Vienna during the 19th and early 20th centuries.\n\nDespite its diminutive size, the modelling is remarkably detailed — right down to the individual strands of fur and texture of the ball of wool.\n\nThe underside is clearly stamped ©88 FM, dating this particular example to 1988.\n\nMaker: The Franklin Mint\nCollection: Curio Cabinet Cats\nDesign: Vienna Bronze\nDate: 1988\nMaterial: Bronze with coloured detailing\nMark: ©88 FM\nSize: approximately 6–7 cm \/ around 2½ inches across\n\n*Condition*\nIn very good vintage condition.\nThe figurine has been carefully inspected and no obvious breaks, significant losses or repairs can be seen in the photographs.\n\nThe sculpted bronze detail remains crisp and attractive, while the wonderful orange ball of wool, red ribbon and facial detailing retain strong colour.\n\nThere is some minor age-related surface wear\/patination consistent with a vintage bronze miniature, particularly to the underside and raised areas.\n\nPlease study all photographs carefully as they form an important part of the description and condition report.\n\n*A Note from FS Vintage Co.*\nAll of our items are genuine vintage or antique pieces and have been loved throughout their lifetime.
