Written by Charles Palk Collyns of Dulverton and edited by The Hon. L. J. Bathurst, this volume includes historical accounts, remarkable runs and incidents connected with the chase from 1780–1860.\nThis charming antique book features attractive gilt lettering and stag illustration to the front board, along with a lovely colour plate illustration inside. A wonderful piece for collectors of sporting literature, countryside history, hunting memorabilia or decorative antique books.\n\nCondition Report:\nFair vintage\/antique condition overall for its age. Published in 1907. The cover shows age-related wear, fading and rubbing, with some marks and softening to edges and corners.\nThe internal, first illustrated page appears to have been repaired and reattached at some point with aged tape, although binding to the rest of the book is intact and there is foxing\/discolouration throughout consistent with age. The dust wrapper\/endpaper is creased and worn. Binding remains intact and the book displays beautifully despite its wear. Please study photographs carefully as they form part of the description.\n\nThank you so much for looking.","brand":"FS Vintage Company","offers":[{"title":"Default Title","offer_id":54824299495767,"sku":null,"price":18.5,"currency_code":"GBP","in_stock":true}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/1043\/5333\/3591\/files\/6729c16c-il_fullxfull.8073689358_te33.jpg?v=1788124598","url":"https:\/\/fsvintagecompany.co.uk\/products\/notes-on-the-chase-of-the-wild-red-deer-by-charles-palk-collyns-published-1907","provider":"FS Vintage Company","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
