{"product_id":"rare-franklin-mint-cut-crystal-cat-1988-curio-cabinet-cats-figurine","title":"Rare Franklin Mint Cut Crystal Cat 1988 | Curio Cabinet Cats Figurine","description":"A fabulous and wonderfully unusual Franklin Mint “Cut Crystal” Cat, from the collectible Curio Cabinet Cats Collection, dating to 1988.\n\nThis is one of the most distinctive designs in the collection, constructed from beautifully faceted clear crystal elements mounted upon its original glossy black rectangular plinth.\n\nThe cat's wonderfully characterful little face is formed from a faceted crystal head embellished with applied metal ears, nose and whiskers, while the larger faceted crystal body is finished with its original elegant curled metal tail.\n\nAs the light moves across the numerous cut facets, the crystal produces wonderful flashes, reflections and tiny rainbow colours, making this a particularly eye-catching member of the Curio Cabinet Cats family.\n\nImportantly, this example remains complete, retaining its original black base together with the delicate applied facial details and tail.\n\nThe metal tail fitting bears the ©1988 mark.\n\nMaker: The Franklin Mint\nCollection: Curio Cabinet Cats\nDesign: Cut Crystal\nDate: 1988\nMaterial: Faceted clear crystal\/glass with metal fittings\nBase: Original black rectangular plinth\nMark: ©1988 to metal fitting\n\nA lovely example for a Franklin Mint collector, particularly appealing because all of the small applied components remain present.\n\n*Condition*\n\nIn excellent vintage condition.\nThis figurine has been carefully inspected and is complete, with no chips, cracks, repairs or missing components identified.\n\nBoth faceted crystal elements are sound. The original metal ears, nose and whiskers are present, together with the original curled metal tail and black rectangular base.\n\nThe metal components display gentle age-related patination\/tarnishing, entirely consistent with a vintage piece and something we have deliberately left unpolished.\n\nThere may be very minor signs of previous display to the black base, but nothing that detracts from the overall appearance.\n\nPlease study all photographs carefully as they form an important part of the description and condition report.\n\n*A Note from FS Vintage Co.*\n\nAll of our items are genuine vintage or antique pieces and have been loved throughout their lifetime. As such, signs of age and gentle wear should be expected and are considered part of their unique character and charm.\n\nWe do our very best to photograph and describe each item accurately, so please take a moment to look carefully at all photographs, as they form an important part of the description and condition report.\n\nIf you have any questions or would like any additional photographs before purchasing, please don’t hesitate to get in touch—we’re always happy to help.\n\nWe also believe in giving packaging a second life wherever possible, so your order may arrive using clean, recycled packaging materials to help reduce waste.\n\nYour order will be sent via Royal Mail Tracked 48, providing tracking from dispatch through to delivery.\n\nThank you so much for visiting FS Vintage Co. and supporting our small business—it truly means the world to us. We hope you find something special to treasure for years to come.","brand":"FS Vintage Company","offers":[{"title":"Default Title","offer_id":54824297267543,"sku":null,"price":69.0,"currency_code":"GBP","in_stock":true}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/1043\/5333\/3591\/files\/ee2b0766-il_fullxfull.8451704812_mow3.jpg?v=1788124577","url":"https:\/\/fsvintagecompany.co.uk\/products\/rare-franklin-mint-cut-crystal-cat-1988-curio-cabinet-cats-figurine","provider":"FS Vintage Company","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
