This Franklin Mint interpretation captures that sophisticated look beautifully in miniature.\n\nThe underside bears the original gold-coloured Franklin Mint marking:\n©1988 THE FRANKLIN MINT\nThe design is catalogued within the Curio Cabinet Cats collection as Black Basalt, with this example being the matte black, gold-collar variant.\n\nA lovely piece for an existing Franklin Mint Curio Cabinet Cats collection, as well as a rather stylish little vintage black cat in its own right.\n\nMaker: The Franklin Mint\nCollection: Curio Cabinet Cats\nDesign: Black Basalt – Matte \/ Gold Collar\nDate: 1988\nMaterial: Ceramic\/porcelain\nFinish: Matte black with gold-coloured detailing\nHeight: approximately 7 cm \/ 2¾ inches\nPlease see the measurement photograph for scale.\n\n*Condition*\n\nIn very good vintage condition overall.\nThe matte black body displays beautifully and the contrasting gold-coloured collar and bell remain present and attractive.
