{"product_id":"vintage-wedgwood-style-green-heart-glass-paperweight-clear-art-glass-romantic-gift","title":"Vintage Wedgwood Style Green Heart Glass Paperweight – Clear Art Glass – Romantic Gift","description":"Vintage Green Heart Art Glass Paperweight – Attributed to Wedgwood\n\nA beautifully simple vintage art glass paperweight featuring a rich green heart encased within a substantial disc of clear glass.\n\nThe central heart motif appears almost suspended within the piece, surrounded by a wonderful deep apple\/olive green circular well. Viewed from different angles, the thick clear glass magnifies and distorts the colour beneath, giving this little paperweight a surprisingly sculptural appearance.\n\nThis piece is unmarked, however its design and construction are reminiscent of vintage Wedgwood art glass. It is therefore being offered as attributed to \/ in the style of Wedgwood, rather than as a definitively identified Wedgwood piece.\n\nThe heart design makes this particularly lovely as a small vintage gift — for an anniversary, wedding, Valentine's Day or simply for somebody who loves collecting vintage British and studio-style art glass.\n\nIt would also make a beautiful little decorative object displayed on a desk, dressing table, shelf or amongst a collection of vintage glass.\n\n*Details*\n\nItem: Art glass paperweight\nDesign: Green heart\nColour: Clear glass with green centre\nForm: Circular\/disc\nMaker: Unmarked – attributed to \/ in the style of Wedgwood\nEra: Vintage, likely later 20th century\nDiameter: Approx. 8 cm \/ 3.1 inches\nMaterial: Art glass\n\nGood vintage condition overall.\nThere are surface scratches, marks and signs of previous use, including scratching to the underside\/base, as can be seen in the photographs.
