A wonderfully vibrant piece of vintage Italian art glass, this beautiful domed paperweight was made in Murano, Italy and remarkably retains its original red and gold “Made in Murano Italy” foil label to the base.
The paperweight features a gorgeous combination of brilliant turquoise, aqua and blue glass. At its centre is a rich blue circular formation, surrounded by a radiating mottled or web-like pattern which spreads towards the outer edge.
The thick clear glass dome magnifies the internal decoration beautifully, changing the appearance of the pattern as the piece is viewed from different angles and giving it a wonderful sense of depth.
Small bubbles and handmade irregularities can be seen within the glass, adding to the character of the piece and providing a lovely reminder of the traditional glassmaking process.
Its rich aquatic colours make this particularly striking displayed where it can catch natural light — on a desk, windowsill, shelf or amongst a collection of vintage art glass.
The surviving original Murano foil label is an especially lovely feature and adds considerably to its appeal as a collectible piece of vintage Italian glass.

Good vintage condition overall.
There are some surface scratches, small marks and signs of previous use, particularly to the underside/base, which are commensurate with the age and use of the piece.
Small bubbles, specks and irregularities can also be seen within the glass. These appear consistent with the handmade nature of the piece rather than later damage and are part of its individual character.
The original foil label remains attached to the base and naturally shows some age-related wear and losses.
I cannot see any significant chips or cracks from your photographs.
